This week is dragging. Not sure what it is, I am just finding myself antsy and missing home. What I miss the most is just feeling comfortable going places. I always feel out of place, weird and confused no matter where I go here.
Today I went to exchange money- USD to Zloty. 1 USD is a little more than 3 Zloty. I rode the bus down to the exchange place and of course the Nike store and H&M were begging for me to go in. I ended up only buying a sweater.... and I did go into the Levi's store and got a pair of jeans that I couldn't walk away from:)
Funny story of the week---> I went tanning (before anyone says how bad it is for you..... I know I only go once or twice a week and it is relaxing) Like I said it is normally relaxing, but yesterday I was laying there in and out of sleep and I felt something ( a bug) touch me. I thought it was a dream so I ignored it....... It was either a butterfly or a very large moth and it attacked. Not really but it was chasing the light so I felt like it was attacking me. I jumped out and trapped it in the tanning bed, got dressed and told the lady working. Of course she didn't speak english so I was pretending to be a butterfly, pointing and whatever else so she understood why I left the bed on and ran out. It ended up with both of us getting the thing out of the tanning salon. I laugh when I think about it. I had to have looked like a crazy person.
Oh yea me and the other 2 americans washed the car this week. As usual we mess things up and don't know how to work anything. A nice man helped us out and spoke english very well. It's always comforting when that happens. I learned that in Poland you are NOT allowed to sit in the car while its being washed ( which is written on the sign that we can't read). He told me this while I was standing outside of the car - because I had to press start- and Chelsea and Dara were inside the car;) haha... oops.
I have a game on Saturday in Byogoszoz. No idea how to say that or where it is. It's going to be another tough game. We have new injuries and seems like everyone doesn't feel well ( knock on wood). With the few healthy people we have we need to be ready. I still don't feel like myself on the court. I am questioning what I am doing sometimes and hesitant. This week has been better and by Saturday I will be ready.
Mimi and Poppy will be here in 12 days I am definitely looking forward to that!
Practice is in a few hours so I better get an episode of Grey's in ( I'm on season 5 and have only been watching for month).
Missing everything about home and as many told me only 11 fridays till Christmas!
